I knew full well that I have the last version of 10.1 and it was working just fine before. It will only waste your time and cause you grief if you no longer have the installer with the last update for 10.1.

Any games or sites that upgraded their Flash Content to 10.2 or above will no longer display using a PowerPC Mac. It's time to start looking for an Intel Mac to replace this one. Just like someone running Internet Explorer 4 or 5 (and there are still some out there) cannot access any secure site, like a banking site or even Amazon to make purchases because their browser doesn't support 128 bit encryption. The PowerPC machines were great in their time, but that time has passed.Īs time goes on, more sites will be upgrading their requirements for Flash content to be viewed, and when that requirement goes beyond 10.1 (the last version that will run on a PowerPC Mac) people with PPC Macs will no longer be able to access Flash content on those sites. Now seven years later Apple and the rest of the (Mac) computing world are making software that ONLY runs on Intel Macs. In 2004 Mac decided to end a decades long relationship with IBM and Motorola and start using Intel processors in everything they make. The reason for this is that your mac is a PowerPC model and it requires an Intel architecture to run. Much the same way OS 10.6 won't install or run on it. Flash Player 10.3 will not install or work on your Mac.
